Randbots say the darndest things

You're probably mesmerized by the whole Clinton-Obama clusterfuck, but did you know other political parties also have nominating contests going on, complete with idiotic screwups. There was big news in the "Libertarian" party when some of presidential hopeful Mary Ruwart's writings were posted on the internets. From her book, Short Answers to the Tough Questions, in response to the question, "How can a libertarian argue against child pornography?":
Children who willingly participate in sexual acts have the right to make that decision as well, even if it's distasteful to us personally. Some children will make poor choices just as some adults do in smoking and drinking to excess. When we outlaw child pornography, the prices paid for child performers rise, increasing the incentives for parents to use children against their will.

Right. Yeah. Okay. Apperantly this is too crazy even for Ron Paul supporters, so now this leads the door wide open for Bob Barr to get the nominations. For those unfamiliar with Mr. Barr, he's a former Republican congressman, who would make long immpassioned speeches on the House floor comparing abortion to murder. In 2002 he lost his seat after it was revealed he paid for his ex-wife's abortion with a personal check (always pay cash). He also wants to ban witchcraft in the military. With geniuses like these I'm surprised they got beat by Ralph Nader .

WTF? I take libertarian to mean that I get to SHOOT child pornographers. The point is whether or not they can make good decisions. You don't use that argument for children or mentally disabled folks. Bad decisions? That's part of the description implicit in the word "child."

Ruwan's a fruit cake.
